Description:

A Trekking Peak expedition to Ramdung Go peak in the Rowaling Valley, crossing the Tashi Lapche pass and then climbing Island Peak and Lobuche East in the Everest region. You need to be fit, passionate and ready for a huge experience!!

Itinerary:

RAMDUNG PEAK CLIMBING ITINERARY

Day 1.
Drive Dolakha and trek descent down to Rato-mate on the banks of Tama Koshi River.

Day 2.
Suridhoban (1,400m.)gentle walking along Tama Khosi the river bank.

Day 3.
Trek to Gongor(1,700m).

Day 4.
Simigoan(2,000m). The trail offers excellent views of the 7000m twin peak of Gauri Shankar and waterfalls cascading down the east bank of the river Bhote Koshi (Rowaling Khola). This is the gateway into the huge isolated Rowaling Valley.

Day 5.
To Pemmas Tea shop. Climbing steeply through the rhododendron forest, cresting the ridge at Shakpa. The trail continues steeply up towards the Samdur Danda, crosses the Daldung la (3,977m) and descends steeply into the Rolwling Valley (3,000m).

Day 6.
Bedding (3,690m.) visit interesting and well-positioned Gompa and a Hillary school in the village.

Day 7.
Acclimatization day in Bedding.

Day 8.
Short trek and rest at Na.

Day 9.
Na to Ramdung Base Camp (5,550m.)

Day 10.
Rest/exploration day – acclimatisation.

Day 11.
Ramdung High Camp.

Day 12.
Summit Ramdung and return back to base camp – (5930m).

Day 13.
Yalung la Camp

Day 14.
Trek to Drolambau Glacier Camp (4,500m.)

Day 15.
Acclimatize.

Day 16.
Climb to the Tashi Lapche (5,755m) and camp. (The highest trekking pass in Nepal)

Day 17.
Descend from the Tashi Lapche camp at Thengpo.

Day 18.
Trek to Namche Bazaar.

COMBINATION WITH ISLAND PEAK

Day 19:
Orientation and exploring Namche

Day 20:
Namch to Tengboche.

Day 21:
Tengboche to Dingboche.

Day 22:
Dingboche Chhukung Ri

Day 23:
Acclimatize/Rest Day.

Day 24:
To Island Base Camp.

Day 25:
To Island High Camp.

Day 26:
Summit Island Peak and back to base camp (6189m) .

Day 27:
To Dingboche

Day 28:
Dingboche to Lobuche

Day 29:

Rest Day

COMBINATION WITH LOBUCHE EAST PEAK

Day 30:
Lobuche to Gorakshep.

Day 31:
Lobuche to base camp

Day 32:
To High Camp.

Day 33:
Summit and back to base camp (6119m).

Day 34:
To Lobuche

Day 35:
To Pheriche

Day 36:
To Tengboche

Day 37:
Rest and relaxing day – visit monasterary – equipment check etc.

Day 38:
To Namche Bazaar

Day 39:
To Phakding

Day 40:
To Lukla

Day 41:
Fly back to Kathmandu
