Description:

The Classic Langtang Valley Trek in the heart of the National Park. A gentle trip following the Langtang Khola to Kyangjin Gompa where the Himalayas and glacier views can be appreciated.

Itinerary:

Day 01.
10 hours drive to Syabrubesi from Kathmandu. From Dhunche, you will have views of Ganesh Himal and, you will be stopped by Langtang National Park to register your entry.

Day 02. Crossing the bridge of Bhote Koshi and Langtang river, you will continue your way through the bank of Langtang river. On the way you will visit a hot water spring. Overnight camp at Lama Hotel following hiking up an hour and half from Bamboo to Rinje. 4.5 walking hours.

Day 03.
To Langtang village through Goratabela (Horse stable) and Langtang National Park Army Post. Great view of Langtang Lirung, Naya Kang, Gangchhenpo and numerous small peaks. Visit yak cheese factory and lots of mani walls. 5 walking hours.

Day 04.
3 hours walking to Kyangjing Gompa (3,730 m.). Visit Langtang Lirung base camp and small Kyangjing monastery.

Day 05.
A day rest. Small climbing up Kyangjing Ri (4,200m.) and down to Kyangjing – 3 hours.

Day 06.
Back to Lama Hotel.

Day 07. Trekking down to Syabrubensi.

Day 08.
Drive to Kathmandu.

For a group size more than 10 persons, a group leader will be offered as complementary by company or if the group has own leader, he/she will be offered the trek free of cost.
