Description:

This classic Everest trek takes you through some Sherpa villages of Solo Khumbu and beautiful scenery and vast Himalayan landscapes. Highlights of this trip include Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa capital and Kala Patar at 5545m where the classic Everest view can be seen. As a bonus we visit South Everest Base Camp on the edge of the Khumbu Glacier below the huge Khumbu Ice Fall and the tiny monasteries above Dingboche in the Island Peak Valley.

Day 01.
Flying to Lukla (2800m.) early in the morning and trekking to Phakding (2650m).

Day 02.
Hiking up to Namche Bazaar (3,440m.), market place in the highest location of the world. In jorsale, before namche, you will find National Park office where you have to be registered your entry.

Day 3.
Acclimatization. Visit Everest view hotel, Khundi hospital, museum, small streets, and a chance to see wild Himalayan Thar.

Day 04.
Trek to Tengboche (3,867m.), visit Tengboche monastery, great views of Amadablam, Mt. Everest etc, Nuptse, Lhotse.

Day 05.
The trail continues up along the Imja Khola to Dingboche (4,440m.). Fantastic vistas of Chola and Island peak valley.

Day 06.
Trekking to Lobuche (4,940m.) – we walk steeply up to where the Khumbu Glacier ends and forms the start of the Dudh Khosi River.

Day 07.
Trekking up Gorak Shep (5,188m.) and up to day trip to Kalapattar (Black rock) 5545m, a small rugged peak that offers the best view of Mt. Everest, Nuptse and Lhotse and Pamori on one side and views towards Cho Oyo on the other. Back to Gorak Shep & rest. 5+ hours walking.

Day 08.
Trekking along to South Everest Base Camp ( 5334 m ) on the edge of the massive Khumbu ice fall and back to Pheriche (4200m.).

Day 09.
Continue trekking back to Namche

Day 10.
Namche to Lukla.

Day 11.
Flying back to Kathmandu.
